SUBJECT: Draft Regulations to Implement the New Statute
Chapter 381 of the Laws of 2012 was enacted by the Legislature to amend Article 101 of the Education Law relating to the licensure requirements for non-degree granting private career schools. The legislation becomes effective on December 15, 2012. The proposed amendment implements the requirements of the new law. As required under the State Administrative Procedure Act, the proposed amendment will be published in the State Register on November 7, 2012 and all interested parties will have 45 days to comment on the regulation.
