GED® Status Report Service
Welcome to the New York State Education Department GED® Status Report Service. This service has replaced the automated phone system. To use this service, you must have your social security number, or GED® ID number, and your date of birth. Please note that GED® status reports are not official copies of New York State GED® diplomas and transcripts. To obtain an official copy of your diploma or transcript, please download Attachment H 
(35kb) and submit that completed form to the New York State GED® Testing Office.
If you took the GED® Tests before 1982, your test session results may not be available thru the online GED® Status Report Service. To obtain an official copy of your diploma or transcript, please download Attachment H (35kb) and submit that completed form to the New York State Education Department.
