College Credit
The New York State High School Equivalency Diploma Based on Earned College Credit may be awarded to candidates who have completed 24 credits (or its equivalent) as a recognized candidate for a degree or a certificate at an approved institution.

Out-of-State Testing
The NYS high school equivalency diploma may also be awarded to candidates who meet all NYS requirements and who submit an official report of results from a HSE Test taken outside NYS, and/or GED® tests taken prior to January 1, 2014.

College Admissions
