ACCES-VR Peer Integration Project - RFP #19-030

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) Adult Career and Continuing Education Services Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR) is seeking proposals for peer integration projects that co-locates peer independent living specialists in five (5) VR District Offices. One project will be located in each of the following District Offices: Rochester, White Plains, Elmira, Hauppauge, and Bronx. The eligible applicants are community-based, not-profit organizations with experience delivering cross-disability, peer driven independent living services. Subcontracting will be limited to thirty percent (30%) of the total contract budget.  Subcontracting is defined as non-employee direct personal services and related incidental expenses, including travel.

The eligible applicants are: Community based, Consumer controlled, Cross-disability, non-residential not-for-profit organizations in New York State.

Bidders are required to comply with NYSED’s Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) participation goals for this RFP through one of three methods. Compliance methods are discussed in detail in the Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Participation Goals section below.

Award:

NYSED will award five (5) contracts pursuant to this RFP. The contracts resulting from this RFP will be for a term anticipated to begin July 1, 2019 and to end June 30, 2024.

Proposal Transmittal Instructions:
