Professional Development

Professional development is provided in New York State by seven regional centers known as the Regional Adult Education Network (RAEN). Training is provided to state funded programs using the National Reporting Systems (NRS) accountability system. Training is provided in: accountability, network building, digital literacy and distance learning, Learning to Achieve, literacy zones, and assessments to improve the practitioner's skills in order to meet or exceed the statewide benchmarks on the core indicators.
